Delete your data.

Your data is yours. This page explains exactly what we'll erase, the three different ways to ask us to do it, and how long you'll be waiting for confirmation.

01 What we erase

Everything we hold about you, gone.

Aecendion is operated by Aecendir (Pvt) Ltd (Sri Lanka, company number PV 00354741, registered office S/3 Thotupola Road, Weragumpita, Matara), which is the data controller for the data described below. A deletion request from you triggers a complete wipe of the data we hold tied to your account or your connected Facebook user — including data we pulled from Meta on your behalf.

Meta access tokens
All Page Access Tokens, Instagram tokens, and WhatsApp system-user tokens linked to your account — wiped from the encrypted store.
Synced messages
Every Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp message we ever stored on your behalf — inbound and outbound — including attachments.
Contacts & identities
Every contact derived from your conversations — PSIDs, Instagram user IDs, WhatsApp phone numbers, names, and profile attributes.
AI inferences
All lead scores, intent classifications, conversation summaries, and other AI-generated artifacts derived from your data.
Pipeline & leads
Every pipeline card, lead, note, custom field, and pipeline-stage history attached to your workspace.
Your account
Your profile, email, password hash, sign-in history, and any preferences or settings you saved — deleted entirely.

Backups containing residual copies of the above roll off within 35 days of the deletion. After that window, no copy of your data — encrypted or otherwise — remains on our systems.

02 How to delete

Three ways. Pick whichever fits.

All three paths result in the same outcome: every piece of data listed above is permanently removed. The difference is just where you start.

Self-serve · Fastest

From inside the app.

If you have access to your Aecendion account, you can fully delete your data in two steps — without contacting us.

  1. Sign in at app.aecendion.com.
  2. Open Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect on each connected Meta account. This revokes our tokens and removes all synced messages and contacts for that integration.
  3. Open Settings → Account and click Delete account. Confirm the dialog.

Your data is purged immediately on confirmation. Backups containing it expire within 35 days.

Email · Within 30 days

By email, if you can't sign in.

If you've lost access to your account, or just prefer a human to handle it, email us. Include the details below so we can find the right records to delete.

  1. Send from the email registered with Aecendion (if you can).
  2. Tell us your Facebook user ID and which integrations to wipe.
  3. State clearly that you want everything deleted.

We reply with a confirmation receipt within two business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Via Meta · No email needed

Revoke from Facebook.

You can also revoke Aecendion's access directly from Facebook's settings. Meta sends us a deauthorize webhook the moment you do; our handler erases the corresponding data automatically.

  1. Go to facebook.com → Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Open Business Integrations.
  3. Find Aecendion and click Remove.

Once Meta delivers the deauthorize signal, all data tied to that Facebook user is purged on our side. No further action is needed.

03 Email template

Use the email template below — fill in the bracketed fields with what's true for you. The clearer your identifiers, the faster we can locate and delete the right records.

04 Timeline

What happens, and when.

The deletion isn't instant only because we want you to know when it's done. Here's the actual cadence.

Receipt
A real human acknowledges your request and confirms the records they intend to delete. (Self-serve deletions skip this step — they're immediate.)
≤ 30d
Deletion
Every piece of live data listed in §01 is permanently erased from our active systems. You receive a final confirmation email.
≤ 35d
Backup rollover
Residual copies in encrypted backups age out. After this window, no copy of your data remains on Aecendion's systems.
